How to

How the App Works

/01

Set Up Your Profile

Completing your profile will make other people understand if you are a good match for their trip. It will help them gain confidence in your belaying skills. Let them know what level you climb at, and what difficulty level you are looking to work on. You can see other's profile by either tapping on a climber on a trip's detail page, or by clicking on the profile icon while chatting. You can only see other profiles through planned trips. We did this on purpose to keep this app strictly about the outdoor climbing.

Plan a Trip

Tapping the 'Trips Feed' button on the 'Locations' page will give you a list of trips others have already added. Alternatively, you can view each 'Location' on its own. Tapping a 'Trip' will get you to the trips details page. There you can check out climber's profiles and tap the 'Message to Join' to get the ball rolling. Once you started a conversation, you can keep messaging via the 'Messages' tab. Or why not start your own trip? Add a trip by tapping the '+' icon under 'My Trips' or on a 'Location' page. Now sit back and wait for someone to contact you. Don't forget to add someone to your trip, once you are happy for them to come along. You do that by selecting the climber on your trip's detail page. Tap 'Add Climber'. The added climber will now be visible to others and you can use the group chat function in the app.

About Us

Our Story

Climbing Photo

One day in the summer, the weather was great and I finally had some days off work...

I really wanted to go climbing, but all my climbing buddies were away, too busy or lacking psych. The opportunity was lost and the idea for this app was born. I hope that belay me will bring more people climbing together, and help you go climb whenever you want... We also hope that it will enable us to use our local crags more often rather than having to book expensive and environmentally unfriendly trips abroad. Any questions, please get in touch.
